Findings reveal that discussions of student cheating, AI policies, writing practices, and faculty labor are not merely technical debates but sites where surveillance regimes, accountability structures, and academic precarity are negotiated in real time. Ultimately, I argue that AI in higher education is not simply a technological shift but a structural transformation requiring deliberate, critically informed governance grounded in equity and human agency.
